Don't hunk JL anything will fir behind seats. As to your next question, not sure but it's not so much a limiter as it pulls certain tones and frequencies to fall off the louder the volume goes.

And you want to get rid of the factory sub. Correct?

No way for limiter to be off nukes you do LOC with DSP.

Others replace the door speakers and sub. If that doesn't work for you then you can go the DSP route but I guarantee that if you put in a better sub and door speakers you will be happy and won't even notice the "limiter"

Default Stock lariat sub

So I have a question. I have a 2009 F150 FX4 and I bought a stock sony 700 w sub/amp and it did not come with wiring harness/kit. Is there anyway to get this hooked up? I've called around and every audio shop I've talked to said it can't be done. I find it hard to believe I'm the first one that has thought of this; if anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated. I need to know if I need it get rid of it and just get the sound ordnance (should of in the first place it seems).

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the Sony HU? Probably not. Then I would sell it.

I've got a 2014 Raptor Screw w/ the NAV, Sony, sub, etc. Thinking of upgrading and I like the idea of the behind the seat subs.

A few questions:

1) Will 2 SO fit behind the seat - without cutting the rear material?

2) How much space on the rear wall behind the seat will be taken up by 2 SO and would there still be space for an amp back there? (Thinking of upgrading door speakers/tweaters w/ a 4 ch amp or somthing like that.)

3) Subjectively how much better would 2 SO be than the Sony sub? How would 2 SO compare w/ the Kicker Soundstage?

I mostly listen to rock and alternative at mid-levels. Little rap.

TIA.
