Default Subs in 98 f150

Can I install 2 10" subs under the rear seat of my 98 extended cab f150 without a seat lift kit?

Only if you find some that are less than 5 inches tall. I made 16" x 12" x 7" tall boxes and lifted my seat 2 1/2" to fit my 10's under and they still stick out almost 2 inches.

yes you can just have to find some that fit, are you going to be building the box yourself or going with a pre fab box?

If you can I'd lift the seat, you'll never get enough airspace otherwise. I've got a 99 with the split fold over seats, the biggest I could get without sticking out too far from under the seats was .7 cuft before factoring in the driver a shallow mount 10" usually calls for at least .75 cuft. Without enough airspace it won't sound near as good as it could.

I have no idea how much bass you're looking for but my single 8" is enough to hit 114db and play down to 29hz. It's just enough to feel it hit in my chest & shake the whole cab.

Is there any pre fab boxes out there that work really well on a 98 ex cab?

Not that I found, there's only 5 inches of space under the seat.
