Im not using that exact plan, and the sub is going more towards the front of the box. hopefully I can get something to work out.

For the price of that sub I would go with a Sundown SD-2 10".

Better sub and designed for smaller enclosures. A mid way point between shallows and full size.

Sundown doesn't list the Xmax for the 10" but the 8" has 14mm and the 12" has 12mm; I am assuming the 10" is in-between those. Whereas that Rockford only has 8mm.

I got it on amazon for 86$, not from crutchfield. Hopefully I can make it work, if not I'll just look into a different model

should have read the box plan better. you were right.
ended up with this one:

It was only a 10$ mistake - I was able to return to Amazon minus the cost of shipping...

The box is built and im just waiting on the carpet to arrive. Need to mount a piece of MDF to my back wall for the amp mount, and ill post up some pics.

Got it all mounted and installed. I'm thrilled with the sound. Again, went with a RF shallow mount(P3SD2-10) in a custom box, with an Alpine amp(MRV-M500).

Top of rear passenger seat.

I will say, mounting the amp to the back wall was an absolute pain since I have a sliding rear window...glad that's over with!!

Sorry but a custom box would have fit under the seat better.
