Default sub boxes

I have a 2010 Screw XLT and am going to be installing a stereo, though keeping teh stock HU, i just like the way it looks, but want to replace the horrible sound it has. I am going to get 4 5x7 composite speakers, and a 50w x 4 channel amp for them that i will wire with a LOC, with outputs for the 250/1 monoblock JL amp that I have. Anyways, i am going to be installing a single 10" sub, either JL 10w3v3, or one of those DC sound labs level 2 subs, if i can find a way to both get one and get it priced...

Anyways, for the question. I want a sub box that does not take up the entire area under the back seat, like the one that foxbox has for 2 10" subs, I would rather have one that just takes up half, then try to find a under seat storage kit, kinda like the du-ha one, that also only takes up half, anyone have any idea where i can get a good half seat box?

Thanks

Good luck! I have been searching for the exact same thing for a week now. I'm going to try and make it to a DC dealer this week. I'll let you know what he tells me.

Also, I just installed these speakers this week. They fit exactly in the stock holes and Best Buy sells the wire adapters if you don't want to cut your wires. I think i paid like 24 bucks for the front and rear.

I just sold an '04-'08 MTX Thunderform (completely pre-loaded with sub and amp) to someone with a newer body style. Since the hump isn't there he said he was going to shim it up. That would be something similar to what you're looking for. Not sure if you'd want more storage space than that, but they are nice subs.

contact rusty flowers at dc, tell him i sent you, you will get a way better deal going through him using my name than a dealer, the prices dealers charge is outrageous, the lvl 2's fit in musicmoose boxs'...it is a tight fit, but very worth it

I just put in a Punch 300.1 mono amp and 1 2 ohm JL Audio 10w3v3 under the rear seat of my 2003. I had to build the box myself and it is exactly .625 cubic feet. The sound quality is amazing and since the 2010 has more room under the seat it shouldn't be a problem. The sub was a tight fit since the box is exactly 6 inches tall but it fits really well, you will be very happy with this sub.

nice box, i think i am going to be doing the same, and having to build my own. But i want to do downfiring instead...does anyone know how far the DC subs level 2 excursion will come out, so i know how far i have to leave the side boards past the face where the sub mounts?

Well, as soon as i said this i found:

http://www.supercrewsound.com/commer...d=375&catId=58

looks to be what i am after, though they don't have the actual dimensions posted, by the pics, it looks like it will only take up half of underneath the back seat...kind of expensive, but im sure its a good box.
