here are mine, there 10's. the seat folds down just enough to use it if you have to, but they dont lock down.

i wish my seats folded like that. mine have a big metal part under them and the cushion just flips down and has metal under it so it makes a big metal platform. kinda hard to explain.

yeah its too bad. oh well im pretty set on this idea. i think ill buy the two 12's and an amp. then make a box that fits on top of the 60 part of my seat when its folded down. and if i dont like that, ill just make a different box that fits on the 40 part of my seat when its folded down, but is more vertical instead of horizontal.

yeah, that will probably be best if you dont usually use your back seat. post up some pics when your done, its always good to see some new sub box idea, no matter how much i try i cant get the perfect set up. this is my 5th box. (3 in my ranger and 2 in my 150). none of them have been perfect.

yeah i think itl be good, cause if i do it on the 60 side and dont miss the full backseat, itl look real nice, and if i decide to go with just doin it on the 40 side, i still have two free seats in the back. and thats all i need i dont like having a full backseat anyway. one or two back there at the most.
