Stereo/Back-up Camera Recommendations
I want to outfit my 2011 F150 XLT SuperCrew with a back-up camera. I make use of the Sync system frequently and stream my music through Bluetooth.
I could use some recommendations on stereo units for that purpose. I'm a big fan of Crutchfield, which shows me this list of options. I've used them in the past and I'm very happy with their services.
I'm content with the sound from the stock set-up, so I'm not very picky when it comes to upgrading the current speakers.
Finally, regardless of recommendations, I'm having a hard time visualizing how a double DIN installation will look. I could use some photos of aftermarket double DIN units installed.
Thanks in advance!

I installed a Kenwood 892 (2015) model in my 2012 screw, 2 yrs ago before I got rid of the truck for my new 16. It was a 7" touchscreen with Garmin Nav built in, and played dad's as well, while in motion, if you ground MA wire to the chassis of the Hu or truck. I also added a Oem sale Ford Logo BU cam, from TheCameraSource.com. I also installed the Maestro Rr Module, to retain Sync, and steering wheel controls. The 892 also had 2 usb inputso on the rear, 1 for mass usb devices, the other for Apple products ( ipods). As well as a HD Radio tuner...
Plus I installed a Sirius XM 300 tuner. Install took me 3 hours start to finish going Slow, to make sure I missed nothing. Everything worked and sounded great with this HU. The Kenwood 893, is the Latest HU, with Apple Carp lay & Android Auto built in, if that interests you! I also used the Scorched dash bezel, as the Metra looks terrible!
When you put the truck in reverse, the bu camera came up on the screen, muted the stereo, and the oem bu sensors beeped like normal. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or PM, as I don't get into the Stereo section alot!
I got everything but the bu cam from Crutchfield.com...

Did the same, with help of Todd man in my 2014. Love the setup. I connect sync for phone functions, and the dnx for Bluetooth (clearer and displays the music info better).
Camera source oem camera for rca is extremely clear
