Default Steering wheel controls

Its time to move on from the stock head unit to maybe the pioneer 5800. I read alot on this a while back a remember talk of a controller to allow me not to loose my steering wheel control and it came already programed for the f150 and was cheaper than the other units and easier to install. I cant find anything on it. Does anybody recall what unit I may be talking about? Im thinking about buying with amazon prime and putting the head-unit in Monday and Tuesday since I'm off. Any help or other suggestions is much appreciated.

iDatalink Maestro

PAC also make steering wheel kits.

Use Cruthfield to build out what you will need for your pickup, doesn't mean you need to buy from them.

No programming. It will recognize the vehicle. Easiest one out there.

Yes, it is preprogrammed and there are only a couple wires to splice.

The Meistro is good if you don't want to splice wires.
