If you have a center console, you could replace it with a custom built one. Then you have the space to do almost whatever you can dream up.

check out supercrewsounds for a sub box. They make them for 04-present (I've got a '13 RCSB and it fits in my truck perfectly, but it was really designed around the 04-08 model.) I got the 1x12 box and put a JL sub in it powered by a JL amp (click on my screen name for the particular models). Pair that up with Alpine door speakers and...wait for it...dynamat!

The MTX box is giving me a few ideas....thanks for the help so far.

Id think that boxing bass would be kinda tough unless you take them out of the water, but even then they flop around a lot.

But seriously, you know what sub/subs you want. You know where you like your seats. Get a tape measure, some paper, and design a box that matches the specs of your woofer.

i have a previous body style and have done many setups behind my seats so i know the newer body styles have more room to work with. ive done 3 10's sealed , 2 12's sealed , 12 ported and 1 10 ported. if you have the resume you say i wouldnt think building a simple ported box for whatever equipment you have would be a big deal. building a box for a single cab isnt very hard or time consuming at all

Here's a box I made for my 2011 regular cab. It houses a JL Audio 8W7.
