I am assuming your truck has the same system as an 03, so yes your truck has factory 6x8's. Also, most modern day 6x8's and 5x7's are around the same size, or come with adapters to fit the OEM cutout of a 6x8. I know alpine sales their 5x7" coaxs and clearly states on the box it fits a 5x7 and 6x8 opening(come with plastic adapters). Just something to look into if you want an easy install.

I like to use Crutchfield.com as a reference, you can "outfit my car" and it will list what can and cannot fit, as well as other options.

Using the 6x8 holes to add 6 1/2" coaxle or components are the way to go. A large majority of companies including alpine and kenwood offer An adapter plate in the box. I've done this twice on my mustang in the 6x8 holes. You have Much better options and can put just about any brand you like in as a replacement.

But to answer the question they are 6x8 front and rear. And trying to make 5x7s fit is not the way to go.
