Default Speakers Pop when Opening Door - 2015

I've recently upgraded my front speakers and added an amp and subwoofer to my 2015 non-sony system. Since then, occasionally the speakers make a pop/thump sound when I open the door that sounds like 4 heartbeats. Anyone have any clue why this would happen? I've changed my ground, and checked all connections, but it's still happening. It does sound like it's only coming from the speakers connected to my amp.

How are you feeding the signal to your amp?

My 13 does this as well. But I'm running auto sensing off a h660.

I'm running high level inputs through an Audi control dq61, then rca's to the amp.

It sounds like you're used a switch source that's always hot. Having power from source that needs the key to be on, should stop the popping.

When you open the door your truck will "wake up". I use DC offset to turn on my Kicker amp and it comes on every time I open the door. I don't get any pops or noises or anything though. It sounds like yours is doing something similar. My only advice would be to play with how your turning the amp on.

Ok...I think I've figured it out. My amp is only 4 ohm stable bridged and I had my subs wired at 2 ohms connected to the bridged channel. I've fixed that and have not heard the sound anymore. Speakers sound much cleaner also.

Thanks for all the replies!

I had this problem using a few different fuse locations with an add-a-fuse for the remote turn on. Finally went to #23 and it went away.
