Remote wire goes from back of the radio harness to amp 1 which is split to amp 2. I have a piece of metal behind the radio that I attached a screw to and ran a ground wire from there which connects the reverse gear signal input ( purple wire ) as well as a wire ( green and black ) which is the ground wire from the factory harness and lastly one for the mute wire in hopes of being able to use the camera / DVD player in motion. I'm still pretty new to this so I'm not sure which is the power line but double checked all the wires and they are attached and connected well. I do have an amp kit connected to both amps. Checked RCA cables. All are firmly attached.

Where are the amps grounded? I would disconnect the mute wire. It has nothing to do with using the camera in motion.
