If I have to pick between those two, as much as it pains me to say this as a former Rockford fanboy, those Pioneer 4-ways look like they have slightly better specs at a better price (per Crutchfield). That being said no test is better than listening to them yourself.

Now I'm personnally running Infinity Kappa 682.11cf 6x8 Inch 2-Ways and they sound legendary!

Default A6882's in my '06

Back in 2010, I dropped in 4 Pioneer A6882R 4-way's in my 2006 XLT... was putting about 100W to each channel. They sounded just fine in that truck considering they are mounted at your ankles and install was essentially drop in. I'd think newer Pioneer 4-ways would be just as good and simple.

They're about twice as much as either of your other picks.

Infinity Kappa are good. I have the 680.9CS that come with tweeters. Very good sounds.
Look at Amazon for Infinitys. They have numerous 6 X 8 models and usually some are on sale for a good price.
