Default Speaker Measurement 2008 F150 XL
I just bought a 2008 F150 XL and was thinking about replacing the Stereo radio and the stock speakers. I installed a Sony GT620U but have not replaced the speakers as yet. I did however remove the speaker from the rear and measured it. It measured 5 and 3/4 X 8. My question is, will a 6 X 8 fit perfectly without any cutting? I don't plan on installing an Amp.

Yes you will be able to fit a 6x8 there.

You can fit a 5x7 or 6x8. The mounting holes on the speakers are the same.
