Default sound processors

I have a 04 with the premium sound package. I want to keep my stock head unit so I still have use of my steering wheel controls. I have already replaced the front componet speakers and the rear speakers. I have a sub that I need to build a inclosure for and then hook up the amps. Just replacing the front and rear speakers made a huge difference even though they are not amped yet. Has anyone installed a sound processor to hook up a amp to the factory deck and what brand do you recommend?

there simple things, it takes the speaker wires and converts it into rca outputs.. its real easy, you do know you can still maintain use of steering wheel controls with an aftermarket deck right?

I did not know that. Every where I asked said you need a processor or a big exspensive nav unit deck. I didn't want to spen that much money on a deck. Is there another way?
