Ive had one of these units for over a year and i noticed when its cold out the sub does'nt work until the trucks cab warms up. does anyone one else experience this. Also when the sub was new i was surprised at hard the bass would hit for a small powered 8" sub But it does'nt do anything close to that anymore. how do you tune these subs for optimal performance because i have no idea what any of the ***** do.

So I've encountered a problem. I still have more investigating to do to find the reason, but in the last couple weeks my sub has been losing all sound after being on from anywhere for a few seconds up to an hour or so. It will play fine, then at any given time stop. It doesn't turn off, the power light is still on, but no sound. I have to turn the radio on and off a few times to get it to come back on.
I warrantied the 8-BT through Crutchfield, and they sent me a 8-BTD, and as soon as I installed it, it does it again.
I still need to check the phone line to the remote, and my ground, but it has worked fine for almost a year and just seemed to start messing up for no reason. Could there be a voltage issue with the PAC? The red power light stays on, like I said, but it will slowly pulse in brightness while it's having issues and the manual says nothing about it.
Thoughts?

Check the remote (on/off) power lead from the PAC unit, and make sure it's cycling in step with the radio power.

I know this is an old post, but has anyone installed one of the newer Sound Ordinance B-8PTD's under one of the front seats in an F150? Do they fit?
