Default Sound deadening

I used dynamat on my last truck and it was awesome but now I see there's different company's out now that are cheaper. Like fatmat, Gtmat etc...

What do yall recommend? Just stick with dynamat?

I used Fatmat on the front doors...it definitely made the panels fit a little tighter and helped reduce rattle at increased volumes. That's really all I was expecting.

Seems no one really helped. Check out Second Skin, lots of options for sound deadening/dampening. KnuKnoceptz has some good 80mil and 100mil CLD. I used Knu on my doors and really like it. Avoid Dynamat; overpriced.

Glad your opinion is worth so much more than mine. :-P

I used the Stinger brand bulk kits. Two kits did the whole truck and then some!

I've used Dynamat, Memphis Mojo Mat and STP (low cost sound deadener local audio shop has) To me, they are all the same. I had a Hyundai sonata that I dynamated the F F out of it and now an F150 that I've used STP and mojo mat(because they were out of stp) and it does the same job. You're paying for the name.

With that said I'll use STP for now on because it's only $25 a sheet where dynamat is $45 a sheet.
