I ended up taking the Sony door speakers out and installing the Kicker KS68 speakers I had from my 2008 ...nice change, better sound especially the highs. Took the sub out and stuffed it with polyfil just as everyone stated in other posts ...not much of a difference. I did notice that when the sub kicks it cuts out on the other speakers in the doors - kind of odd. It's like the power goes away for a spit instant. I guess going from what I was used to in my 2008 to trying to make the factory one in my 2011 sound similiar is pretty much impossible without putting in a custom sub box with dual 10's and an amplifier like what I had.
Maybe after Christmas I'll splurge on upgrading everything but the head unit.
