Just wanted to pitch in on all that love for SE. I used their store on ebay and had no issues what so ever. I got the harness and the dash kit, but the antenna was missing from mine. It wasn't that expensive though....

Default Kenwood 9140

How do you like the Kenwood DNX-9140 ? I am thinking about adding one to my 01 F150 Supercrew.
Thanks

I bought a couple amps for a customer's boat about a week ago from sonicelectronix.com. A JL Audio 300/4 and 500/1. Got a pretty good price on both of them. The amps were ordered on a Thursday, and they waited until Tuesday to ship them out. On the following Friday, UPS's train crashed and delayed the shipment until the following Monday. They finally came in requiring a signature and the delivery was missed (because some people have to work for a living and can't sit by the door waiting) 3 times. Went to install the amps and the 500/1 didn't work, straight out of the box. The amp was NOT a refurb. It was brand new in a factory sealed box. After finding that, we turned the amp over and the serial number's were peeled off. I can't explain our customers' happiness at this point.

The next day my partner calls this place and never can get the person he needs to talk to, but whoever he talked to stated that he'd have to ship the amp back, pay the freight on it himself, then in 7 days they'd make a decision whether or not to send us a refurbed amp or repair this one. I haven't asked my partner lately how that came out, but he'd waited all day for a return phone call and never got one.

he should not be complaining the site for the late delivery... only for the delay in shipping... if the product was the one stuck on the train, than it was probably damaged from the shock of the crash. Crash's are a part of our lives... it can happen to anyone driving anything. If there was a problem with the product, he should have first contacted UPS for an inspection of the product. If he doesn't get back the price he paid for the stuff from UPS insurance, but he gets at least $100, he should contact the site for them to replace the product. Don't blame the company for a shipping issue, unless it was never shipped...

I've been working in the shipping industry for almost 6 years, and heard of all this stuff... should not be taken out on the website

The prices are better than Crutchfield. I'm looking to change the Alpine head in my truck. Thinking of a Kenwood DPX503 I hope it all hooks up to my JL amps
