You need an adapter, you can actually get the Audiophile harness for it and keep your sub. Check out Metra for both the kits and harnesses, part numbers should be in the audio sticky.

Does the CX9 already have a sub? Does he have an aftermarket head unit?

In my F150 i'll change everything i already order subs, and comps i can bypass everything, just want to know if there any special thing to use.

The CX9 have a basic system, and OEM HU, he don't want to change his HU cause is a 6 cd in-dash mp3, so jus put in my speakers and the sub/amp thing i have in the back.

You'll need the dash kit, the double dins are slightly smaller than the stock opening.

Integrating the sub will probably be more work than its worth. You'll need a low level low passed signal to run it, and his head unit probably limits bass output to save the factory speakers. Can you put your head unit in the CX9?

I'll have to see if it fits, but i don't think he will allow it, cause his is integrated with the vehicle operation, the center console is a complete system, the high and low is not a problem, and wiring either.

The audiphile system works like any other amp/sub system, don't need any special thing to turn it on or that kind of things??

I ask cause i have a friend with a IS350 and he change his system and try to put in his dad's car and doesn't work cause it requieres a special signal from the factory radio to turn on.

The Audiophile sub uses a 5 volt turn on instead of 12 volt, but there is not any canbus communication.

You can just drop the 12V to 5V with a voltage divider: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltage_divider
