You should tap the speakers in the doors. Run the speaker leads to the 2 channel input of the lc2. You will then have a 2 channel fixed output to your amp for the door speakers and a 2 channel variable output to go to a sub amp. It is variable so you can use a sub level remote adjustment.

Boostgeek does this Alpine fit in the 2015 with the 8 inch screen? Does it come with the Ford wiring harness? I'm interested if so.

From what I see in the picture it doesn't come with any wiring harness and no it will not fit a Sony system if that is what you have.

I have the 8 inch my touch screen but no Sony system or nav. The 2015 system is as bad or worse than my 2013. I'm hoping that I can make this mod to improve the lifeless sound system. Which adapter fits the 2015? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

No adapter yet that I know of. Not sure if the Parrott BT adapter that worked with the 13-14 will still work

Called Crutchfield and as of yet no adapter for 2015 which they said requires a different harness. I am anxious for this mod to become available. Where I live the only stereo shop went out of business and I believe this one is easy enough for me to tackle. Had a nice amped system installed in my 2013 prior to the shop going out of business. Makes this stereo on the 2015 sound that much worse. Come on Ford, all this money and my wife's Fusion sounds better!

Anyone done this on a 2015 non Sony 8" touchscreen yet? I want to do it but can't find any information on a adapter that will fit.

OK. I have a quick question about adding a powered sub to this harness. I've searched for the answer but haven't run across anything yet (probably because it's something I shouldn't need to ask about). Do I splice the speaker level inputs for the powered sub to the end of the 445u that had the rca plugs that cut off to make this harness? I'm assuming the sub has to be wired in before the Alpine, so is this the input side? Sorry for the very novice question and digging up an old thread but I have the 445u installed and my powered sub is on its way. Thanks!
