Small 4-chan amp installed

RJ I would like to do the exact same thing. Wondering if I can install the Alpine amp as described in this thread. Then simply T into the right rear output (or any one of the speakers) after the amp for the signal and T into the remote wire to turn on my second amp that I want to add with a sub.

Yea i had to find that out the hard way. Had to cut the RCA's and use that for the input side and wire the opposite side for the output. I have a PAC on order so when i get it in, ill post how i did it. I have the door soeakers and KTP U installed. Thanks to GATOR for his help

Well...it was fun while it lasted. I ended up having to pull my KTP-445 out today, and am now running the speakers off of the head unit again.
It all started a few weeks ago with the sound cutting out on my front passenger side speaker. All it would take for it to come back was to bump the volume up a couple notches, so yesterday I went in to a local stereo shop here and described what was happening and to them it sounded like the voice coil was going bad for that speaker. So I went ahead and called up Crutchfield (where I bought my Kickers in all 4 doors) and got a warranty replacement under way.
So here I am thinking it's just the speaker itself, and all of a sudden while figuring out what to play via bluetooth audio the speaker starts to crackle whenever I hit a bump in the road. So I ended up going back to the stereo shop and they took the door panel off and determined that the adapter that goes between the factory connector and speaker had a loose connection...so he cut it and did some soldering. Problem fixed!
Oh but wait....guess it's not fixed. Driving around some more today and the damn speaker starts crackling again. So I pull the bottom of the dash panel off where the KTP-445 was hidden behind (same place as where the OP put his) and start wiggling the wires around that go up to the back of the head unit....and the crackling starts up again.
So I got it back home and pulled the panels off to get to the amp and also the head unit to see if I can pinpoint where the poor connection is and the crackling starts going crazy...not just on the front passenger speaker but all four. So I ended up pulling the amp completely out and plugged the factory plug back into the back of the head unit to see if that was where the problem was. Thank god everything was fine.....didn't want to have to deal with a back connector on the factory wiring.
So it's narrowed down to one of the two connectors that came with the BT adapter that I bought. With all those wires it's going to be next to impossible to figure out the offending pins....so the amp will just have to stay out. Maybe I'll get another adapter one day and try it all over again, but I doubt that will be anytime soon. Guess I'll just have to see how I like the sound off the head unit again. If I can't stand it like before I'll most likely just get a regular amp installed instead of going with the KTP-445 again. Still going to go through with the warranty replacement because that front passenger speaker still doesn't sound right....like it's slightly muted or something. Hope the replacement speakers sound better.
