What was the amp you used? 445?

Not to thread jack but can anyone shed some light on brand quality? I'm looking at 2 15in q power black Mombas. The question is are they any good or worth the 250 I'm gunna shell out fe them in the box with the amp?

Okay I missed the part where you connect the blue/white remote wire from amp to the other wire. However I've seen people say the following:

Orange/Black
OR
Red/Blue

I have a 2009 XLT with Sync and single disc non-Sony.

This may be just what I am looking for! I have a 2012 FX4 Supercrew w/o Sony and this looks to be a great remedy to the flat, seemingly powerless stereo. One question, can the square on top of the dash (that has the small speaker when you get the Sony upgrade)(best way to describe that) be removed and the back of the radio accessed that way, or do you HAVE to take apart the console and radio surround and pull radio to plug this in?

Any ideas where to source the Apline and Harness from at the best price? I saw it on EBAY around $100-$110 and the harness for about $30 from an online place. The Best Buy near me has "Low Stock" of the Apline, if any. Probably will just go ahead with the prices I have seen. Going to work out that harness and have it ready to plug in prior to installation. Is the wiring list above compatible to a non Sony, non Amp, 6CD Premium Sound in a 2012 FX4? Thanks

I have a FX4 with the NON Sony and I just popped off the square tray and 2 screws and from what I can see I can not get to back of radio. There is some kind of box that sits on top of the display.

I think I can follow this.

Does anyone have a 2012 FX4 that they have done this? I have the center shift "flow through" console?

GOBLUEJD.. Thanks for the chart and vid link. Seems pretty easy to get to, now that I have seen how to get to the 4 bolts on the radio. I have to order the parts and I am definatly going to give this a try next weekend if I can get the parts by then.

Yeah it would be nice to find out the exact one. I heard through this thread that the orange and black was illumination. I'd like to be sure.
