Exclamation Single cab setup pics/stats

They have an audio pic thread but I couldn't find one specifically for us regular cab's.

I ditched my old system some time ago. I was running two Kenwood eXcelon 10's w/ a eXcelon 1200rms amp and all Monster Cables w/ Kenwood eXcelon head unit. I was not impressed at all with that setup so I sold it. Sometime later I ended up getting a Memphis S-Class 12" from my brother and some crap old Kenwood amp pushing like 125rms. That janky setup sounded better than what I had before. Fast forward to now, I got lucky lurking on eBay and found myself another S-Class for real cheap as Memphis no longer makes them. It was basically brand new. I start lurking around and found myself a JL 500/1 V2 a guy was selling he said he couldn't get to work. It was virtually brand new as well. He said it received power but would not send signal to his subs. Turns out he didn't realize those amps have a signal sensing option and he had his turned on, plus he had the high pass on as well. Works just fine for me. He also managed to somehow snap the recessed head off the set screw for the power input; easy fix. Long story short I have supercrewsound box in the mail and looking forward to having a quality setup and not something janky.

My new system:
x2 Memphis Audio 15-SCD4 subwoofers
JL Audio 500/1 Slash V2 amplifier
x4 Infinity Kappa 5x7's
Alpine CDE-HD148BT head unit
All KnuKonceptz wiring
Alpine KTP-445A head unit power pack (next month)
Supercrewsound box (on way)

Next year:
Interior sound deadened

I will get some pics up as soon as I get the box in and installed. When and if I ever kill these S-Classes, they will be replaced with SI BM MK IV's.

Lets see those reg cab setups and stats.

What year is your truck? Can you give me the dimensions for your 12" sub box? Is it ported or sealed?

The old box or the new one?

The new one is this: http://www.supercrewsound.com/97F150StdBtsDual.html

My old one was very similar to that one ^ but from a different manufacture of which I do not remember. Sealed.

Well I was not happy with the supercrew box so I decided to build my own.

Pic is before I siliconed inside & out and wrapped it with matching medium graphite carpet. I also picked up a roll of poly fill at walmart (not the stuffing poly fill) and double layered the inside walls minus the front. All made with 3/4 MDF. I gorilla super glued and pressed in t-nuts for mounting the subs. I will put pics up of it finished in my truck once I finish some wire routing/management.

I also finished up sound deadening both doors with KnuKonceptz Kolossus 100mil CLD. I will eventually deaden the roof and back wall as well. I plan here soon to use the left over CLD to place around/inside the rear speaker housing. I traded my JL 500/1 V2 amp for a Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D amp; man what a difference!

It is not perfect but it's the first box I have ever built, but it sounds amazing. The average person wouldn't believe I have two 12" shallows in here.

This is the box I'm putting in my '14 rcsb. It's a small ported box for my 12" Kicker L7. I still need to hook up my amp though so I don't know what it'll sound like. I took this sub out of my '02 screw, I had 2 12" L7's in a large pro box that won't fit in my rcsb.
