Alright... so I've had my 2012 fx4 supercrew for about a month. It has the sony system with stock 700w subwoofer and navigation, but the bass (and highs) are just plain awful. I want to put a single 12" under my rear seat with a mono amp to power it. I think I'm gonna get a box from supercrewsound (unless y'all have any other recommendations). I want a sub and amp combo that booms, but sticks inside of about a $500 budget (for the sub and amp) in order to leave room to pay for the box and wiring kit.

Sony XM GS100 sub amp ($170) and Stereo Integrity BM MKIV 12" shallow mount ($300). I built the recommended sealed box size of 0.5ft3 and it completely fits under my passenger side rear seat. Couldn't be happier with the sound.

Would you mind posting a picture of how it looks? Also, once it is under that seat must it stay down or can it be folded up if more space is needed?

The seat can go up. I did a quick disconnect on my box so it can easily come out too.
