I will be installing a RockfordFosgate P3, 10",
2-ohm shallow mount sub, with 300rms and 600peak tomorrow.( I looked at the box today, I under-rated it yesterday) Pretty shallow and good reviews from what I read. Check it out on their website, and I'll post tomorrow what I think after install. :-)

Edit: my subs and amps are wired and sound AMAZING! This p3, shallow mount does not sound anything close to a shallow mount! In a 1.0 cubic foot box, it pounds and is more than enough space for my cab. I used to have two MTX 10's in my last f-150 and this one "shallow mount" blows those two regular subs out of the water!

I still have to cover my box in leather, and mount the amps, but it will require some more time and some stitching! As for now, I am stoked! The hard part is all done and out of the way!

So the p3 hits hard? I got those two shallow kicker tens and a 500 watt amp one has a busted voice coil cause i ain't going to lie i push that system. It dims my interior lights when it hits. I just want something louder and not busted lol. With good sound quality though.

The p3 definitely hits hard! I've got a 500 watt mono block amp for the subs and a 300watt x4, that is actually 85x4 on the actual power ratings provided by RF for my highs which are the 1683-3 way, 6x8's. I couldn't even imagine how loud and hard two of these p3's would sound like?! (with proper wattage, prob 1000 watts)
This setup I have now is SUPER crisp and clean. I'd definitely recommend these subs!

JL Audio TW3 is the new top shallow sub IMO. I have 4 of them in my truck.

Oooo, Pretty lights. And nice box! :-) I'm sure the tw3's do well, but was not looking for overkill. I got my p3 on Amazon for super cheap an am pleased as punch! I don't doubt there are better subs than the p3, but I no longer thirst for those hear stopping bass notes in my trucks any longer. Lol This p3 has done more than what I thought it would and still has more to come as it "breaks in".
