Retaining SYNC functions with Pioneer NAV Unit

Lol. My head hurts man. I'm told my HU powers down so it doesn't interfere with sync...and sync can do its thing. Sync does appear to work, I just can't pair my (previous or current) phone to it. My phone is paired to my laptop and my Pioneer HU, so I know it isn't the phone. I think maybe i'll call PAC and the installer. I was their first guy that used the new PAC unit...maybe the have seen the light.
