Replacing factory speakers?
#21
Ok this is where I am right now: I am thinking I want to replace my factory speakers with BA speakers. I then I want an amp that will power those speakers alo with a sub. If I went with the DC level 2 sub, what amp would I need to power all of this? Would the DC 2.0k work?
Thanks

there is no price on dc's website you have to go through a dealer or me through order them, a dealer will charge you out the ***...i will give you cost pricing, ill tell you this tho..the sub is cheaper than the one you were looking at

oh, your not gonna go with the selenium speakers? alright then, you could go with the 2k you would just have to be easy on the gain, real easy...i think it would be better for you to just go with a different type of amp, a inexpensive option is the audiopipe 300.2, it is a great match for the dc level 2...i used to have a couple i would have sold you 1 but i recently sold the last one..they are fairly inexpensive, do rated power and are not too power hungry

tbh if i was you i would go with the speakers from parts express, they will sound better and get louder than the boston's...but its your truck so go with what your more comfortable with...i can put up a video of mine where i have selenium/vifa combo you cant get a idea of how good it sounds though because it distorts the camera's mic

same stuff in my old truck, like i said it distorts the mic's camera but its pretty clean in person...dosnt do it any justice, since then i have installed dozens of selenium mids and vifa products in car and home situations
