So how do I remove the stock stero out of my 2002 ford f-150? I cant find any pictures or links on the web to show me how.

you simply pull the bezel that covers the radio off (it's easiest if you push the two vents to the side and pull straight back from the vents). This will leave the radio exposed. You need either the tool available at any audio shop or even walmart for removing the radio or a coat hanger bent into a U. Then you simply insert the tool or coat hanger into the two holes on either side of the radio and then pull the radio out. Of course whenever I try to take a ford radio out it still takes me a half hour of pushing and pulling to get the damn thing out even with the tool

with my homemade tool aka coat hanger it took me a while too finally get it! i almost gave up on it lol. thing is a pain in the ***.

The tool is only like 6 dollars now. Although the coat hanger trick will work also!
