Pretty much resolved this. I connected both sub and door amps to a 12v trigger. Then the LCQ-1 has no remote wire, getting its turn on signal from the factory amp speaker outputs. So as soon as I turn the key all amps kick on. Then once the factory Sony amp boots up it turns on the Audiocontrol. Pretty much a silent startup and shut down. Still have a little subwoofer pop to resolve. But making progress.

etazeta, what trigger did you use and what did you connect it to?
BTW your system looks awesome and it is exactly what I want to do!

Thanks man. I drew it all on paper 100 times before I ordered anything, and of course this place is a big help. To your question, I will have to check which wire I used. I accessed it under the steering column. Just spent some time with a test light. I'll pop the panel off and get the color for you.

Also added a hideaway toggle switch at that point. That way if I ever need to shut the system off completely, I can.

So all you did was find a 12v wire that turns on and off with the ignition and used it for the remote for both amps? You didn't use a trigger device like a PAC TR7? I think I saw somewhere else on that there is a fuse in the passenger kick panel that can be tapped for a remote also.

Just got this bad boy in today. Quick three wire install and problem solved! Adjustable delay from 0-30 seconds. Now I crank up and 15 seconds later the amps kick on and it's completely silent. Perfect

I will slowly adjust downward as I think 11-12 seconds will do the trick.

etazeta, Just curious if you tried to tap a fuse for the remote before you used a random wire under the column? After serching around and looking at the fuse panel is looks like fuse #38 should work.
