Default Remote Start install help - 2006 F150

I just purchased these from Crutchfield and have them now:

Code alarm remote start CA5154 - http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220CA51...a5154&skipvs=T

Flash Logic FLCAN programmed for my truck:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220FLCA...57&s=0&p=52921

They sent me a sheet with all my truck's wiring, and the manual with the alarm comes with the basic directions, good enough, I can make it work. My question is, the FLCAN connects to the car's data bus and makes it so I don't have to hook up a lot of the wires on the CA5154, but I can't find anywhere(even the Flash Logic website) that says specifically what wires I don't need to connect for my truck?

For example, the CA5154 has discrete wires that hook to the car to do the following:
Parking Brake input *
Door lock/unlock *
Illuminated Entry output *
Horn output
Tach input *
Start Status/active output
Hood pin input
Brake input *
Parking light input/output *
Starter output
Battery 12V and GND
Pulse during crank
pulse during shutdown
Factory arm/pulse after start *
Factory disarm, pulse before start *

The FLCAN just says "it has the capability to do the following depending on the car" over the databus:

tach input
door lock control
dome light supervision
factory alarm arm/disarm
Brake safety shut down
Transponder interface activation
Manual arm/disarm inputs(Factory keyless controls system)

My basic question, what wires DO I NOT need to hookup to the CA5154? I put as * next to the ones I think, can anyone help me out?

Thank you.

I just did something similar on a 2007 Expedition. I didn't use a FLCAN but a PKALL so it didn't have door lock support. The FLCAN description says it is a bypass and has door lock support so I would think that everything needs to be hooked up on the remote start except the door locks. I would call them for sure.
This is the number off the FLCAN webpage.

I will call Crutchfield later, see what they say first. But this is the exact excerpt from the Crutchfield website about the FLCAN capabilities:

"Overview: The FlashLogic FLCAN Databus Interface Module communicates with your vehicle's Databus to provide plug-in capability between the module, and the Code-Alarm security system for various functions. Typical functions include passive anti-theft bypass (transponder, VATS, Passlock, PK3,etc), factory keyless entry controls, factory alarm arm/disarm, door trigger status, tach signal, dome light supervision, trunk/hatch open. Compatibility and available functions vary depending upon year, make, and model of vehicle."

I can see where that would be confusing. I would call the FLCAN support and not Crutchfield to confirm

I got the answer. A 2006 F150 is a CANbus vehicle, but as an older vehicle it uses the CANbus only for engine parameters. The door locks/illumination/etc are not on the CANbus.

So, I'm out of luck on this, the CANbus can only be used for the immobilizer defeat. Everything else I have to do with the discrete wiring. This sucks.

Bummer. Your truck is like the Expedition I did then. I wonder which year that changes? Did they happen to tell you?

The FLCAN is a bit of an over kill for that truck. The only thing it will be able to do is immobilizer. Locks are in the DKP, Tach is at the test plug on the passengers side of the engine, Brake and parking lights are also in DKP. Door triggers are negative but if I remember correctly they rest at ground so you will need to isolate them. easy truck to install everything into though.
