Rear Seat Sub Box Review
so im taking the plunge and deciding to put a sub in my 05 f150 xlt super cab. found two boxes that are specifically made for the truck and was wondering if anyone had any comments on them or any suggestions on other ones.

I know space is limited for under the seat subs but these seem like a good option.

One thing to be careful about with the under seat box, is check how much the sub comes up when the stereo is on, the bottom of the seat will shred the sub if they make contact. But I like the box that is ported. Try looking on eBay, there is a guy on there that makes custom under seat boxes that come loaded with subs, he actually designs the box for the best sound with the subs. My last box came with two 8" Boston acoustic subs, which I thought was going to be a let down, but it sounded excellent.

this box is designed to where the woofer fires down. there's enough easment for the excursion of the sub to move without hitting the floor. that being said, this is a sealed box. MAKE sure you know the mounting depth of the 12" sub you plan to put in this small box... it might not fit. If you would like a box designed specifically to your needs with the right fitting lookup Dave The Box Guy (davetheboxguy.com) insane boxes and like the guy I'm quoting above, he builds the boxes specific to the subs

I just put a MTX 12" sub and Form Fitted fiberglass box, and hooked to my new Alpine V70 5 Channel amp and 4 New Infifnty 6x8" 8602cfx speakers
stock deck and dynamatted the whole door and door panels on all 4 doors.
This thing just pounds and is crystal clear using the stock deck......sub faces the floor
Check out MTX site they have all kinds great subs and box's.....and Price's on the site
My system is so matched up the louder I go, it stays crystal clear!
ya gotta love that
Good Luck!

If you're looking for a box for your supercab, look no further fella! lol, Check out the FoxBox. THey make a single & dual 10" enclosure that fits under our seats (I've got an 2006 Scab). I don't have one personally, but have done plenty of research and these are definitely the one's to go with.
