I am going to be building a sub box for the rear seat of my 2006 extended cab f150. I have two alpine type s 12's (which have a mounting depth of 5 7/8) and I already have a custom 2.5" seat lift that i made from some old steel I had. I was wondering if anybody else has a sub box similar to this and what you're dimensions are. I was thinking of trying a front firing but I am not sure if that will work.

I had a seat lift in my truck. Ran a pair of 10s front firing. I don't think you have enough room for 12s front firing... I've seen downfiring boxes for 12s tho.

Alrighty. I think i wills be able to fit them under the seat if I have a inch or so sticking out in front of the seat
