Radio Trim Bezel Question/Pic Request
I have a 2012 Crew Cab Lariat with the Non-navigation Sony system. I cannot find a color matching bezel or install kit for a double din aftermarket install. I am wanting to do the Kenwood DNX890HD and the Maestro RR module that is popular in this forum.
I got ahold of metra because they claim they have a 2011-2012 Lariat Trim matching Bezel...however theirs matches the 2011 Lariat and not the darker 2012 Lariat.
Has anyone else installed an aftermarket system in the Lariat and can you show me your pictures. I am wondering how the black will look with the interior trim I have.
Here is a picture of my truck.

What ever you do don't buy the wood grain version. It looks like they let a kindergarten kid go at it with black paint. I know the owner of a shop here in CT who has a 12 and went with the wood grain and ended up putting the black in his truck. It doesn't look amazing but it's way better than the wood grain version.

Here is a link to a post I made a while back.

This is 3M Vinyl Wrap. I recommend using this as a nice dress to a Scosche or Metra Bezel. You may be able to find it in a matching wood grain or even use something totally different but this was a great solution for me and a year and a half later has held up like the day I installed it.

Since you will have to buy a bezel anyway....go with the Scoche. Much better fit, I had the Metra and didn't like it because it required an additional adapter ring which the Scosche does not.
