Radio Reprogramming
I am looking at installing a radio from a different F150 in my 2011 F150. I have read in many posts about having to have the radio reprogrammed. What happens if the radio is not reprogrammed? I would like to make certain the radio works before I spend the money to have it reprogrammed.

I'm trying to find out the same thing. I just bought a 2007 and it has the 6CD mp3 satelitte radio. My steering wheel controls for the radio (volume and seek) do not work and the back lights also do not work. I am told that it could be from a different vehicle and would need to be programed. When I call and ask the dealer, they don't seem to know anything about it and all they advise is to make an appointment and they might have to send it out to be fixed.
