Default 2013 fx4 sub upgrade

I have a 2013 with the sony system with factory subwoofer
I have a system to upgrade my current system and wondering if it's as simple as splicing the factory subwoofer wires (4 wires) to my line converter for my RCA output? I haven't seen any info on weather the signal given from the subs wiring can be used? Thanks in advance for the gelp

Add a fuse in the fuse box. I think #36. Could be wrong. You could do a search for that info
