By doing components up front are you replacing factory tweeter or positioning new one somewhere else?
Also if using 2-3 ways how does that work if leaving a pillar tweeters intact. Wouldn't you be running almost two tweeters?

Pillar tweeters replaced in front using component speakers. Just two ways in the rears. Hope this helps. I didn't think I would see a huge improvement replacing speakers as I had already added the amp and subs to power the existing speakers. But it was immediately noticeable how much better the new tweeters as opposed to the originals sounded. Overall the sound was better but especially the tweeters. I know they are driven by an amp so I don't know if the same benefit would be gained without an amp but if replacing the speakers anyways, might as well do it right to begin with imho.
