Default Quick Question

I have a quick question. What are all the adapters I need to change my stock head unit to a Double Din Receiver? I'm currently running 4 door speakers, 2 amped Kicker 10's, and a set of tweeters. What do I need in order to get this Pioneer AVH-P3400BH installed.

I don't have SYNC or Steering Wheel controls. Thanks in advance for the help

I installed the AVH-3500BH in my wife's Audi. I used a Pac interface and a Pac steering wheel interface to retain the SW controls. Go to Pac's web site pac-audio.com and plug you vehicle year, make and model in and the site will show you what is available. The work good. You can also use a standard Metra or Scosche wiring harness. The Maestro will also work although if your not using a Kenwood stereo there is not very much integration that I know of. Good luck. The listed companies also sell dash kits and wiring harnesses.

Are you using factory wiring to those speakers? If you arent just tap into the batt and ground on the factory harness and run a tap fuse to your fuse panel for dimmer/ignition power. The chart is on here for the factory speaker wiring colors as well if you just want to hardwire it all and save the money from harness

$10 for a harness is cheap insurance that it is wired correctly and is much easier to do

You would think so but the 10 dollar harness for my 09 none of the pins matched up. And it sure looks like the one you pointed out. I'll dig up the part # but it was a total waste of time. And if he is running speaker wire from a amp you only use 2 wires from the harness anyway to hook things up

And this is the wrong harness. You be the judge. Exactly why I threw it out after wasting a long time until I realized only Batt and ground were only pins lining up, when it took me 10 min to butt connect 2 wires and run a wire 4ft wire to fuse box. If he using factory speaker wire he has to connect 10. It's only a color coded extension on what's there.

Here is the one that Crutchfield suggests.

I would always use a wiring harness if possible
