question for folks with a LCQ1
I have a 2011 Lariat Eco Screw. Plain radio, not the sony one.
I had the LCQ1 installed with a Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the doors speaker (JL Audio) and a 2 channel amp wired mono for a sub.
I'm tweaking everything. Step 1 for the LCQ1 accubass is to set everything flat and then increase the volume until you hear the bass roll off (presumable because some factory head units are set to decrease bass with volume so the factory speakers don't distort). Well, I never heard the bass decrease as I increased the volume.
I played around with accubass settings anyway and decided I liked it better turned completely off (all the way down). It did strange things, but I think it isn't needed.
Are you folks seeing a factory bass rolloff with increasing volume? I'm not. How did you end up setting your accubass?
