How is that place so cheap? I know JL authorized dealers that are paying more than that at cost. I would be a little worried about purchasing from them.

I have no idea. That site (like sonic and woofersetc) aren't "authorized" resellers for a lot of items, so they have to warranty the stuff themselves. But I personally have never screwed with returning any car audio stuff for warranty work, so I don't really worry about it (especially for half price).

I'd assume they do bulk overstock purchases from the manufacturers and can't sell authorized because the companies don't want to hurt their distributor's feelings.

I know JL Audio had on their website about counterfeit products of theirs being sold online. If you Google Map that site you linked you will see that building is no where to be found. I would just be a little scared to spend that much money at a location I don't know.
To each his own I guess, but then again I would never buy a Kicker either. I pay much more but its from a authorized dealer like Crutchfield. Never had any issue with them and the customer service is top notch.

Dual battery set ups are more for reserves than power supply.

If you have dimming issues, try the Big 3 or 4 (it's easy read here: https://www.f150forum.com/f33/how-big-3-upgrade-46822/ )

Then high output alternator.

I hear what you're saying man. All boils down to how much your willing to spend to make sure you get the real deal.

Most manufacturers have there products made in China. The American companies have people that live over there for quality control. The products that don't meet QC standards are suppose to be destroyed but most of the time they aren't. Instead its stored in a back room until a container load builds up and the factory bosses sell it to online discounters for pennies on the dollar.
The customer really has no way of knowing if there 1200w amp only put out 900w or if a 4 ohm speaker actually has a 3 or 5 ohm resistance. That is what you get for 1/2 or 1/3 the price.
I have a friend that works for Bazooka and he said people that buy online and try to get stuff repaired are surprised when Bazooka runs the serial number and the serial number is invalid. He said that they even got product back that had perfectly labeled series 4 bass tubes. Problem was that there was no such product line. They were still making series 3 that year. He said the product was made so well that there repair guy made the repairs but the billing dept caught the series 4 when doing the paperwork.
