Default Probox

So i been having 2 10 inch JL WX's for about a year now with a cheap quick box i built so i been thinking of upgrading to a probox.

Since my 2 10s can't fit i am trying to decide to sell what i have now and go with 2 8s or go with the 1 10 inch box?

Anyone that has any advice would be great, thanks

Ported is usually louder but that's not always best. It's a big personal preference. A proper ported box is goin to be much bigger then a sealed box. Also is going to depend on the subs you want to use as well.

Well I can tell u from an ohms stand point it's better to usually run an even amount of subs rather than an odd. I just built a box for my truck to fit 2 8's and it is ported. I tuned it to 32hz which again is preferable to me as I like a little deeper bass some go to 28 even but this creates a larger port channel as well. My box outside dimensions are 56" long taking up literally every inch in width under the back seat and 14 inches deep just to give u an idea. Btw I'm not a fan of JL, not that They don't make a decent product it's just way over priced and for the money there is a hole lot better in my opinion. you want a decent sub for a great price that you can put loads of power on check out sundown audio you want a little nicer setup checkout Fi, those r going to be some loud setups. You want more sq look into hybrid audio like I have. Just YouTube some of them and you can see what I'm talking about.
