Default "Premium" sony out, real sound done

Done with the tunes, it was a challenge but very happy with the results.
I'm starting this thread to offer opinion and advice if anyone is looking to upgrade.
I have a '13 fx4 scab with 8" touch nav and Sony.
But scratch the Sony.
Jl audio fix 82
Alpine r comp front
Alpine rear
Jl audio 700/5v2
Jl audio 10TW3-d4
Custom down firing box, the low profile (3.5") tw3 makes this possible and thumps like you wouldn't believe.
Now, I'm older and just like good music, not into breaking stuff and getting tickets like when I was younger.... I actually had to turn the bass down and couldn't even imagine installing 2 like I almost did.
Amazing amp and amazing sub!
The sound processor is the best one out in my opinion, I'm glad the results reflected the research I did.
This was a fairly easy install and I'm willing to give box dimensions and tips to those who are interested.
There are other sub options that will fit too.
I will add pics soon.

Nice! I had a JL Audio XD500/3 amp in my last truck. Amazing little amp!

Thanks!
That's ok, as I posted on your build thread, I get jealous every time I look at your wheels.
Huge mistake selling mine... I miss em.

Yeah the 700/5 has more than amazed me, it definitely does its job pushing power.

Nice setup. I'm a pretty big fan of 5 channel amps. There are some really great models out there and you can easily run your entire system with one. Plus they're a whole lot simpler to install. Don't need as much room for them and you don't have to mess with distribution blocks.

Does that box interfere with the storage cubby under the seat? If so is it possible to put the sub under the other seat and the amp under the front seat?

My setup takes up the space under the seats.
It's a down firing box which sounds best imho so it needs the room.
You can fit a box under the pass side back seat but it would need to stick out from under the seat a lil, and I'd stay away from putting an amp under the front seat but it also goes nicely behind the seat.
