Powered sub fuse tap?
#12
I bought an add-a-fuse for my 2014 and the blades aren't long enough to plug in. The sides of the fuse box interfere. I am looking for another source since the auto-sense on my LOC and amp don't always catch the signal.

Yeah I saw that in another post but my fuses are not facing the same direction as that persons was. I was looking on Amazon yesterday and found a review from a guy with a 14 F-150 who was in the same boat. He found a way around it using a different type of Add-A-Fuse. I ordered what he recommended (only $6.88) and will post my findings if it works. I'm only out 7 bucks if it doesn't.

Yes. Weather you have it or not, it is an always hot circuit from the battery thru a 40A fuse. On my truck which does NOT have the inverter, it ends at an 8 pin connector near the ebrake. Pin number 8. It is Fuse 33 under the hood. If you have the inverter, it continues to the inverter in the center stack. That is a 6 pin connector pin number 4.
You can verify you are on the correct circuit by putting your meter on it and then pulling the fuse. If you are using the inverter at full output and also have the music turned up, you may blow that fuse.

Got my new add a fuse last night. I am going to try to get it installed tonight but most likely it will be tomorrow. The guy online says the dimensions of the blades fit very well into the ATT style so we shall see.
