Ported vs sealed sub box

Ported vs sealed sub box
I am looking into sub boxes and have been doing research in ported vs sealed and understand the differences for the most part. How many people actually run a ported box ? Other than space saving for a sealed it seems the ported box is more punch and better lows.
What is the general consensus for the fox box dual 10 ported sub box for the 09-up f150?

I would say a sealed box has more "punch" and a ported box will hit the lows better.
I'm looking at the Fox Box myself paired with some IDQ-10's but I've heard from other members it can take quite some time to receive due to the boxes needing to be built still.

A Ported box will produce more more sound, and can have the potential to better reproduce low frequencies. Although a sealed box tends to have better response, although requires more power to reach the same volume levels. If your going for sound quality sealed is generally the way to go, me personally, I will be making a fiberglass sealed box for my 8" JL W7 in my pickup.

The fox box can take some time to get to you. However, for the money, I think it's the best that you can find. I have zero complaints about the box for my 06
