Angry Popping speaker with aftermarket radio

Hey guys, so a couple weeks ago I bought and installed a used boss radio in my truck, ( i know, i know, first problem was buying a boss). I kept hearing a popping coming from the back right speaker. It sounded like **** and half of it didn't work so I returned it and put my stock radio back in. Everything sounded great with the stock stereo. No popping.

A few days later, I bought a new radio, (Kenwood DDX371). Still hear the same popping noise.

Few important details:
I used the Metra 70-5521 wiring harness (I plugged the two RCA connectors into the Sub part of the radio) I used a new harness with the new radio.

2004 F-150 FX4 extended cab with the stock 6 CD-changer (no aux ports but had the aux button) and has the sub under the back seats.

Does anyone know what could be causing this popping????

I'm going to guess a bad speaker. The stock stereo doesn't have enough power to cause it to sound bad but as soon as you add aftermarket power it pops up. Just a guess

It is the sub. Did you use a 12V to 5V reducer for the factory sub?
