Default Poor Radio reception

I have a 93 F150 and I have poor reception. It's kind of bad when I come up to a long stop light and have to stop where the reception is the strongest...I don't know what to do. I have an aftermarket Radio and the original antenna. I'm not a big know anything on wiring so maybe someone can be descriptive on it.

I have thought about different antennas but don't want to drill holes in my truck.

Get a new antenna. Use the same hole.

Oh sweet. I thought it would have to be a whole new rewire thing.
