pioneer quality?

That depends on a lot. Are they the lowest tier pioneer makes? If so, they will sound better than factory, but not outstanding. If they are a higher model like the premier line, I recommend putting an amp to them. Pioneer is like a lot of manufacturers. Their products range from very high quality to budget friendly. Over all pioneer makes great stuff. I have owned a lot of their products, and still do.

better than stock. ok enough for me.
if you have an amp, then you can go with high RMS , but if you dont have an amplifier in your car, then your headunit even a better headunit is usually a 20W RMS or so (OEM its even less), so try to get an speaker close to that RMS. i.e., an speaker with 20W RMS and 180W peak power will sound a lot better without an amplifier, than an speaker with 40W RMS and 350W peak power.... the head unit wont be able to make it beat properly... a couple of pioneer speakers are around $45 in amazon ( ).

unless you just want a little bump up from stock, avoid the black friday models. they are cheap for a reason. nothing against pioneer because i love their stuff. just my honest opinion, so disregard if you like.

Just call me sean. Really
I have 6.5 inch $40 pioneers from wally world. They sound amazing, nice and loud. I'm pretty big into audio, but not like multiple amps and processors big into it
