Default Pioneer and PAC frd1 interface

Well I finally got everything installed and I got to say it does not work well at all.
The PAC interface is what takes over the SYNC well sometimes when I hit the
command button it works sometimes not, the phone will connect sometimes
when I get a call I cannot answer it with the steering well button.
The factory display above the radio switches from saying DVD to built Ford tough like it should.
So far this has not been money well spent.
I don't think its the Pioneer avic 8100 nex problem I believe it all has to do with the interface.

Has any body else had problems with the PAC
or should I return it all and get the Idatalink system

I ran the PAC adapter for the steering wheel controls in my old Accord, or rather I tried to use it. It never did work right so I finally just ripped it out. Ive known some guys that they work flawlessly for but I think anything more than just volume and track +/- is beyond them honestly.

I used an FRD1 just one time. It was buggy also. You need to switch to the Idatalink. No issues with it.
