Default Pioneer Installed

I have installed the Pioneer P6000UB. The basic installation was very easy, The only trouble I have is mating up the head unit up with the factory speakers in my truck. What I did in order to get the radio installed and powered up was to temporarily use a pair of 3 way book shelf speakers from my speaker stash. My first impressions of this rig are favorable, it is fairly complex and I learned right off the bat the radio is easier to operate from remote then from it's front panel. So far I am pleased with my purchase. We will see how things go as I learn how to use this radio.

P.S. Well I know one thing the way the radio is angled on the dash of my 1995 the display is impossible to read in the sun light. i don't think is any big think because I suspect most every other radio with this type of display wll has the same problem. It will, however, look way cool at night.

---------------- Now playing: Metallica - Blitzkrieg via FoxyTunes

The 6000 is a pretty B.A. unit. I see it every day at work lol. The new pioneers are all really clean and the new remotes are cool as hell too. You are right though that the radio is easier to use from the remote. The scroll wheel/joystick is hard to get the hang of. especially when driving

Default Pictures of the 6000

Here are some photo's, I am sorry about the crappy quality My digital camera is a old one. 600 bucks in May new camera ummm good

The top part of the trim piece around the radio looks like it is bend down. It isn't it looks this way because of the way the padded dash angles down above it.

it looks awesome, and it matches your truck nicely.
