Pioneer bypass!!

For the newer Pioneer units, you usually plug a wire into the slot next to the mute wire and ground both the new wire and the parking brake wire. Leave the mute wire unattached and you should be good to go.

Here's a pic of the bypass I bought. I would have made my own, but had reward points to use along with free shipping.
Here's also a video on how to make your own bypass. I took the lazy route, haha.

Hey guys. I tried the old relay trick on my AVH-X5600BHS with no luck. At first it seemed to work, but after a day of frustration, I finally gave up and called my buddy. He said he got his installed at a local shop that used a bypass from www.diybypass.com. I already had completed my install so I just went and ordered it from amazon and it works amazing! I see people bring this up all of the time here so I just wanted to recommend it so that people don't waste their time with the relay. Here's the info for the item that I bought.
