Default Pioneer bypass!!

Alright I got a Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD installed in my truck. Everything works right but the video. I don't want to run the green wire all the way to the E break. Any body installed the toggle bypass switch??

Just hook the wire up to a ground and then you'll be able to use the video whenever you want... The only reason they want you to hook up to the parking brake is so you have to have it engaged to turn it on

As long as the green wire you're speaking of is the one that's supposed to be going to the parking brake ground, yes. Just connect it to any ground on the car.

Won't work on newer Pioneer units....they have a speed sensor input.

avic411 should have your solution. usually a relay providing ground to ebrake wire off the radio remote turn on should work. try a standard relay first.:
85 & 30 to ground on radio
86 radio remote turn on
87 to ebrake
87A not used
may work. some Pioneers it's as simple as swapping the ebrake wire to a different pin, they are all different, gl.

I run a Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS and just ordered a bypass from amazon pretty cheap. Works like a charm.
